Notice there is a lot of love from these coaches. :) He means it when he says he wants to be like a family. He's going to help us with Bell this weekend, and he's been talking to Carl. This is awesome...

I spoke with Paul Fortenberry tonight from the Rivals.com Tennessee site. He spoke with Jason Carr after his in-home visit tonight with Tennessee head coach Butch Jones. Carr told him that he was shutting his recruitment down. He said he is solid with his commitment to Tennessee.

I can say 100-percent Alabama did not pass on him or the numbers were too tight. Alabama wanted Carr as a part of this class. I know some will say he didn't have a spot. Trust me, he did. The staff hoped to flip him.

And for the X Files conspiracists that think Carr was a secret plant on his visit some of you need to take a break from recruiting.:hi:

Another poster who can not read. I said according to the UA sites coming into the visit he was not a take. I am not an insider and I clarified that in my post. I also said last week he would not be a part of the UA class but try again.

I understand you are giddy like a HS girl but Carr never decommitted from UT.

Tennessee coaches were again on the road Tuesday as they try and close out Butch Jones' inaugural class. Monday, Jones was in Memphis checking in at numerous schools as well as spending the evening with Jason Carr. After taking a trip to Alabama and a report saying Alabama was the favorite led to a 'meltdown' of some on this board, Carr continues to tell us and others that Tennessee is where he wants to be, as he has the past several weeks, and that he's firmly committed to Tennessee.

Carr told Volquest Thursday night that his visit with Jones went very well and that he's solid to Tennessee and has ended his recruitment when it concerns other schools.

No offense but you just quoted a post of mine that actually was positive for UT not UA. How UA struck out on a recruit that they tried to flip from UT. Sort of funny.

I also fail to see how I am crying about your attempt to insult me. I respond because I find it amusing and nothing more. If I took everything serious and to heart I would never post on rival boards.
