and everyone knows the mods killed the Zone. rhetorical question by the op. but I'm glad it was asked. we would not have had that stirring tribute had it not.

Here. I put it all in one place.

A long, long time ago
I can still remember how The Zone, used to make me smile
And, I knew if I had a few paragraphs, that I could make those people laugh, and...
Maybe they'd be happy for a while

But, 2009 made me shiver, with every post I'd deliver
Bad news on the doorstep - I couldn't take one more step
I can't remember if I cried, when I read that others did not abide
to the rules set here inside, the day the End Zone died

So, bye bye The EndZone, goodbye
Sent my PM to the moderators, got no reply
Them good ol' boys were turned away, and suprised, sayin

Now, do you believe in a, free Zone? Can you fathom, it was our own ? And...

Now, for four years we've been on our own, and some have left our beloved Zone, but...
That's not how it used to be
When Kev used to post hottie pics, we'd laugh out loud and ask for names of chicks, and then go off to google more to see
This is how it was for you and me....

Oh, and while the Mods were turned away, we'd be left in here to play,
and happiness ruled the day, until....the End Zone died.

A few hit on Rp's daughter, others picked on a Florida lawyer, but no one ever seemed to bother, that's just the way it was.

Wedding plans, but a beer free reception, made no sense to my recollection, then we added 33 just because.

And I'm not sure how I survived, but I'm glad I did with teary eyes, I'll still post and live my life...even though.......The End Zone died.
