The fact that the Joe Harrington made an impression on him is completely understated. When do these recruits every mention someone in that capacity as having an impact in their OV?

He was extremely complimentary of our film room and all that. People say sometimes a commitment can come down to proximity of food and stuff like that. I doubt Carl is that frivolous, but its not out of the realm of possibility that he was so impressed with that aspect of our facilities that it may be one of the deciding factors that sends him our way.

Lawson is a special player with a special mindset. Tiny was the perfect guy to take care of him because of exactly what Carl said "they're both craftsmen at what they do." If he's anywhere near the defensive version of Tiny then he will be an absolute monster.

Tiny also gives him an opportunity to practice against the best every day. This seems like it would be important to Lawson as he is a professional and wants to fully maximize his potential.

With the main things being close to equal, these little nuances do hold some weight. I've decided on apartments back in the day based on one having a laundry room closer than the other.
