Kinda reminds me of a guy named Walter Stewart. He was 6'5" and 198 lbs. coming out of high school. Not sayin’ that’s what they’ll do with him, it’s just I noticed a resemblance.

I've seen mixed feelings on this guy, but I would really like him on D. Highly touted, good size... plus we're in his final four.

Cunningham is a baller and we'd be lucky to have him. Cunningham, Grace, and Veeren would be a great start to rebuilding our LB core. Ball would also be accepted with open arms too.

Seen someone say that Oregon runs the 4-3 with Leo position now. Thought it was interesting to see two teams with similar defenses going after kid. That always makes me feel good about a player potential

The JACK is also the name for the OLB/DE hybrid in a 3-4. A LEO is someone in a 4-3 set whom is mainly a pass rusher but in certain downs can come up in pass coverage. He's not a true DE but more or less a specialist in pass rush whom you can use to drop back in coverage sometimes and confuse the QB.

Maggit was the first person to come to mind for me as well. I think AJ would be a beast lined up on the line but his cover skills are not good.

Final four of Auburn, Oregon, Tennessee and Vanderbilt. OV's to Auburn on 1/11 and Oregon on 1/18.

Cunningham is a prospect who has flown under the radar and could be a real sleeper among the 2013 class. He is a long and real lean, but active and physical linebacker. He does need to work to try and continue to fill out his frame and add more needed mass. He may be lacking in ideal bulk, but the kid can run with very good sideline-to-sideline ability. He demonstrates he can be very quick off the spot displaying good anticipation. He can knife through creases and be disruptive in the backfield. He can change direction and move through trash well and be active with his hands in protecting himself. While his lean build can be a bit of a concern he is a physical and tough kid who is not afraid to lower his shoulder and mix-it-up and he can deliver a pop when he makes contact. He my still lack the size and strength to consistently take on and stalemate at the point of attack, but he will come downhill and fill and can hold his own at his present level. A solid wrap-up tackler that can deliver a blow, but can be a drag down type at times and allow leaky yardage. He can be disruptive as a pass rusher displaying the ability to time blitzes well and take a tight path and will flash the ability to use his reach and be active with his hands. If he can add the needed mass a move to D-End is possible. Looks at his best vertically attacking and does not look comfortable when asked to drop into coverage and this will be an area he will likely need the most development in, but flashes good underneath zone coverage ability. Cunningham needs to keep physically developing and work to become a more complete player, but he is an active and physical defender with some very good natural ability and could end up being a steal for someone from this class.

Well we need LBers. If we can pull him and Grace that would ease my mind at the LB position. Moving back to a 4-3 should ease the burden as well.

Zach Cunningham - talked to his coach tonight and he's scheduled to visit Auburn this weekend (Jan. 11), Oregon the next weekend (Jan. 18) and Miami the final weekend before signing day (Feb. 2). That leaves the Jan. 25 weekend the only available weekend and Tennessee and Vanderbilt are the two fighting that one out. Coach Jancek will be in there this Friday to visit with him. Right now, he's leaning towards visiting Vanderbilt that weekend. But, the coach did say he could visit Tennessee midweek. So, it's something to watch and I think we'll know more about it after he meets with Jancek this weekend.
