Call it what you will, but it's the swing that makes the difference between playoffs and not. Griffin didn't have the luxury of playing two extra bottom feeders.

don't be your typical moronic self. This isn't hard in the least to understand. A good general rule for you would be "if I can understand it, the vast, vast majority of people easily understood it." The harder part to piece together is the value of those two games toward competing for wildcard spots.

Media driven? There hasn't been a more media driven player than Griffin in a long time. Luck and Luck alone got them behind? Please explain. Let's look at the teams Griffin beat. Saints, Eagles, Bucs, Giants, Cowboys, Vikings, Ravens (Cousins brought them back in that one) Browns (Griffin didn't play at all)

The Colts were 2-14 because of youth, injuries, and horrible play at QB. The injuries haven't been nearly as bad for the Colts, and the O-line is not terrible. Guys like Costanzo are a year older, and they picked up Winston Justice. The D is slightly better, but most important of all the Colts last year had to face an extremely difficult schedule because they were division winners. They enjoyed the last place schedule this year.

Uh, media? The kid has an insane TD / Int ratio for a rookie. His completion % is stout and he's throwing to not very much.

Cousins threw the TD(and 1 other pass) Hardly bringing them back. RG3 drove them down the field injured.

The 2 bottom feeders the Colts played were Browns and Chiefs and guess what, the Redskins also played the Browns.

The one factor y'all are leaving out is RGIII has Alfred Morris and his 1,412 yards and 10 TDs. Luck has Vic Ballard. Morris is a stud, and a case can be made that Morris has had a better rookie offensive season than Luck or RGIII.

Morris has opportunities because RGIII is such a bigger threat to the defense, period.

Luke Kuechly for DROTY. He's currently leaving the league in tackles. He's also probably the most consistent player on his team.

The O line is terrible. Justice has been hurt, Satele has been hurt, the O line has been a patched up all season. Mathis, Freeney, Powers, Davis, Angerer, Redding, and Zbikowski have all missed time on D. And youth? 4 out of the top 6 receivers are rookies. Starting back, Donald Brown has missed a lot of time also. Fleener missed time. Pagano missed missed of the season.

Both the Colts and the Redskins finished last in their division in 2011. Therefore, they both played a last place division finisher from 2011.

For the record, I voted for RG3, I just want all the facts to be presented.

RGIII gives a new dynamic to the QB argument. You can pretty easily compare Manning to Luck to Rodgers, etc. But RGIII is a different animal.

Isn't that part of the "injuries" last year? The Colts had ironman at QB, so they had nothing invested in a backup plan. If they had average QB play, and went 2-14, your argument for Luck would be much stronger after the 8-game turnaround, but as you say the QB play was atrocious.
