Off Season Moves Thread

What kind of prospect is Gose? Don't know much about him. Trading a top prospect, if that's what he is, who's will be under team control until 2019 for a 1 year rental seems a bit steep.

Gose isn't a superstar. He's good on D and has a solid arm, really athletic, but won't ever rake much. And arencibia isn't that good.

What would you want your team to give up for a 38/39 yr old knuckleballer in a contract year? If they can get more they had better jump. I read the deal is based on RA signing an extension. He is only seeking 2 yrs 28M while the Mets offered 2 @ 20.

I did see Gose play in AA, he would be solid in the Citi field OF, but not a game changer by any stretch.

They should at least attempt to get a guy who can be a 1st division regular. Or even 2nd division.

JP is pretty much a replacement level player and Gose has shown nothing that says he will be able to hit ML pitching.

Both will start...doesn't mean you are not right tho hah

If they put Travis d'Arnaud in the deal instead of JP, the Mets should jump IMO.

Heyman just said he is hearing D'Arnaud. much better return for the Mets, if true

Blue Jays going all in. AL East will be a war.

Somebody needs to sign Edwin Jackson.

Liriano and Marcum still floating around.

Nationals have mentioned wanting to add SP depth, with Zach Duke and Christian Garcia as the next options if somebody goes down, so I wonder if we would add a long guy/possible starter like Brett Myers

Nationals should add some SP depth, that is the only thing holding that team back.

1-3 are good but the Nats need a better 4 and 5 starting pitchers, will save the bullpen.
