One of my favs..are snowballs.
1 cup soft butter (butter flavored crisco) make for a flaker pastry.
1/2 cup confectioners sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
mix thourghly
2 1/4 cups a.p. flour
1 cup finely chopped walnuts
mix throughly. will be mealy.
chill dough over night
roll into 1 inch balls
bake at 400 until set not brown about 10 minutes
while warm roll in confectioners sugar
after cool roll in sugar again

After analyzing ingredients and cooking process, I think the recipe might have merit. I give it 4 Mcompton stars on the cookie meter.

True Story.

I feel the need to tell it after being "mod'ed"

VFO was a neighbor of mine for two years, he moved last week.

He bought a piece of furniture from me. In that piece, he found a 1956 edition of a Betty Crocker cook book in it. It belonged to my mother.

The recipe he posted was in that cookbook. He returned it yesterday.

The cookies were awesome!

Too serious for The Zone I know, but that's the story.

Gonzo. I'm not angry. You are just boring.
