Charlie Strong was reportedly being hired as our head coach...he is coaching Louisville last time I checked. CALM DOWN! At least respect our university enough to wait until an official announcement. Again roman and bo were rumor's, neither of them personally came on tv or radio and said i want the ut job. Just like with te gruden rumor's we all were guilty of taking word's from somebody's 'source' as gospel. I'm just saying I support the vol's not just a coach, I hope some of you do jump to vandy's bandwagon. UT deserve's better

I think some of us are not hating on the grude's , heck i want him, just tge fact of how some are trashing the only man in america who actually wanted the job. Support him till he prove's he can't win. U can't be spewing VFL for day's, and now want another team??

It's not really a slam on Jones as it is on the administration. From the very beginning they were aiming so low. If you want a catch a marlin you can't go fishing in Ft Loudon. He!! we're fishing in Billy Bob's pond. Butch Jones may be a great coach but his chances for success are small. To succeed in the SEC you have to recruit with the big boys. I will not support my university anymore --- we have slid over the decade and football is the least of our worries.
My 2 degrees from UT have seen less and value over the years, while my MBA and MS from Northwestern have not.
You really think the people leading this university have a clue what they are doing? And how to get us where we need to go?

Anyone who has gotten pleasure out of any of this is a piece of sh*t and by doing so show that your care for THE UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE is about as much as you say you care about other Vols.

Dave Hart let the university down with this hire. i dont care if BJ was winning in the big east. Bo Peleni would have been better...at least he coached in the SEC. This is going to turn out to be a disaster like the last hire.
