Ugh. I can only hope this is the candidate that would make me puke. Strong I could've stomached. But jones will make me vomit.

One more note...Skeeter said last night in the recruiting forum that Hart had not met Jones yet, but he expected Jones to be on a plane to Knoxville either last night or this AM. My only question is: if you haven't met up with him yet and we hadn't even offered him yet as of last night, then how in the world could Jones announce a team meeting this AM, and he doesn't even know if we will offer? Unless Jones got an offer from Wisconsin, called the team meeting, and we are playing off of that to keep everything concealed until today. I know I am grasping here.

Looks like this thread is sadly coming to an end. I really enjoyed it and I honestly forgot what it felt like to be this fired up about UT football. I can't believe we are about to hire this loser.

Let the mattress burning begin!!!

Doesn't look like it!! Butch jones..... I have been a die hard UT fan my whole life and I have 2 young boys I've made UT fans but with a hire like this at this point in time I can not continue to show support for this mess or raise my kids supporting this mess!! This is an absolute disaster of epic preportions... The UT program needs to be boycotted against and over thrown.... Hell maybe this is apart of the ncaa penalties we're under now.......I didn't know they were givinvg us the death penalty by making us hire this clown...

What really sucks, is that announcer that said there may be a changing of the guard during the Vandy game, he was F'ing right. We might as well move to the WAC!

TIFWIW.... a few yrs ago a coach (forget who right now) went in to tell his players he's gone.... a the end of the meeting.... they convinced him to stay. Not over, but takes like last nights meal in my mouth right now.

I swear, someone needs to write a book about this whole saga! I have believed since October that it has a happy ending!

NM...just saw the link that Hart apparently met Jones in KY last night. I hope Boomer is right, cuz I seriously am about to hang on to the toilet.

YOu don't know what you are talking about. The University of Tennessee is about more than athletics. This process has proven that.

Last night I bought a pretty, shiny, orange top to wear to our company Christmas party tonight. I might should've bought the black one.
