All these 2nd tier coaches heard we were willing to give Charlie Strong 4+ million so their all getting in line. Hart has a mess on his hands.

Hue coached with Gruden at Pacific, position coach? Are they naming our assistants. Just thought about Butch Davis coached with Gruden too.

“Jon Gruden raised me as a coach,” says Jackson, who shared an office with Gruden in 1989 when they were assistants at University of the Pacific, Jackson’s alma mater. “You’ve got to understand, a lot of my belief system stems from him. A lot of my quirkiness, my energy and my understanding of Xs and Os come because I shared an office with a guy with so much passion, who showed me how to put that passion toward something I love.”

I dont even know what to think anymore. I am just enjoying the ride on the Grude Express. No names that have been thrown out would be considered a great hire. We look so desperate now to the rest of the country. I hope it is JG.

Went for the splash, didn't happen
Went for top college coach, collected "No's"

A pattern is developing here and we need a solid hire at this point and get structural things corrected and swing for the fences in 2-3 years if not satisfied. Just my opinion, not trying to settle just stating the obvious. This hire is not going to be a huge splash type hire, it's just not. I am as pissed as anyone.

You guys do realize that this hire will dictate the direction of the TN program for at least the remainder of this decade.

If you need historical data look at Nebraska football and their years in the dark...

The volnation should be storming the gates of the AD office asking for Harts head on a platter and his mattress to burn!

This is shameful!

Mr Arizona,
I believe this is the second time that you have mention with 100% confidence that either Hart or Gruden were not in a rumored location.. If this is true, that means you know where they actually were. If so, can we assume that the two were in the same undisclosed location?

Yup. As long as Tennessee is shooting for 8-4 (which is what they are doing), might as well bring some new blood in here.

If Tn is trying to get publicity today , then they are getting it on sports talk on sirrus and none of it good. They are eating Hart alive.
