Gruden easily could've got in Knoxville yesterday. People were so pre-occupied with Strong they wouldn't even be paying attention to anyone else coming in.

I can say with 100% certainty that Gruden did not fly in yesterday.

If we can get him he is a better hire than others I have heard mentioned. In the last hour I have heard his name probably 12 times from different people I know. That was the first time I had heard it but on the surface seems like he would have great potential.

I know some about Hue Jackson. I would avoid going in that direction. Hue likes to refer to himself in 3rd person, like Strong.

The ultimate would be Fulmer introducing Gruden so we can all finally unite. (dreamer scenario)

Fulmer as AD with Gruden as coach is my dream scenario. Alas I'd love to hop on the gruden train but my gut tells me hart is going to drive the program straight into the ground with a no name hire like Butch Jones or the WR coach from the Bengals (a position coach in the NFL? Seriously? Might as well have kept Dooley).

Don't read too much into it, but my news reporter friend has got wind of us hiring a coach and its not Gruden. I am sorry to bring this bad news and this is NOT confirmed, but they are starting to hear rummors.

I am still 90% Gruden. Hoping to hear from my other friend soon, but he has been really hard to get ahold of so something's goin down.

Go and ask him how we managed to interview and hire someone in light speed time, especially considering every reported interviewee we have confirmed as having interviews with has reportedly turned us down so far...
