so we are waiting for Gundy to turn the job?

and if he is just using this to pocket more money from T Boone and we lose strong due to stalling...

...

...

screw strong - i say we hire Jurich from Lville - get it right at the top

that may be spot on

I feel like everyone is taking us for a ride and we are not the ones in control by any means. Hope Hart proves me wrong at this point.

with a fan base that will not be patient(4 coaches in 5 years). Just reality.

4 coaches in 5 years stat is bs. Kiffin chosing to leave after 1 year does not show that we are not willing to be patient.

Can't win games because we get too many people on the field and can't get a coach because we offer too many for the job.

A friend of mine just brought up a good point. With Bruce Feldman tweeting out that Gundy has an offer, would Hart do that unless he had a yes? It makes the 247 article make sense and why CS didn't say yes last night.

Just a thought.....

I am beginning to think that Hart is trying to angle for the head of the CIA and is just showing off his ability to keep info secret. I have never heard Hubbs, Rucker, and company be so out of the loop on something...

Unless the staff stuff is worked out. Charlie Strong will stay in Louisville. Ahem... That's a shame. Next...

I'm at a loss for words...

Hard to not like the prospects of hiring a guy that has had consistent success in a major conference and has a top-3 finish, BCS Bowl win, and still in his mid-40s.

The guy, at this point in his career, has a better track record than Nick Saban had when he was at Michigan State.

Gundy...What a horrible potential hire!

I agree, this will be our 4th coach in 6 years for starters. And we fire Fulmer because we thought he had sunk into mediocrity. Kiffin left us in the middle of the night and Dooley was underpar. To me this means we have standards, and if a coach doesn't like that we shouldn't want him...

Lol. 247's morning updates say they don't know who's been offered the job. Comical.

IMO, I think the ball is in Strong's court. I think it's down to details now. Strong may be making a lot of late inquiries about the job, and that's the hold-up.

I think this is all about the money. Whoever has been offered the job knows we were willing to break the bank for gruden so they are trying to get as close to that number as they can. IMO

Well, at least Arky and Aubbie have their coaches, so in theory we aren't competing with any other SEC schools. So I guess we can take our time to get our man. Problem is, we don't appear to be too competent in that regard and keep fxckin it up.

I disagree. I think this is about the ball being in Strong's court. I think he is making inquiries or making demands and it's holding up the process.

This logic lines-up with people are alluding to this being an issue with the staff. Sucks.

On ITG they are saying Strong is staying at Lville. Said that their AD is going t give him a new deal that will make him the highest paid coach in the ACC. He went on to say Hart told Strong he wanted to get this the process over with but went on the do 3 more interview after meeting with Strong. Strong got an agent last year and the agent firm also represents one of the coaches so once it got back to CCS he reportedly decided to stay at UL late last nite after telling his agent and AD that he was going to take the UT job once offered. TIFWIW

I think we are putting the cart before the horse. Everyone can admit that there is a ton of misdirection and Hart has not said a word. But despite all of this misdirection, we still choose to believe the media and others that penly admit they are out of the loop. Let's let this stuff get worked out and then we can fairly judge Hart. We do not have enough info to prove Hart is doing anything to destroy or hurt this program...

Arky has been looking for almost a year and Aubbie took Gus, who was not an option for us.

Unless Gundy released it. He could be forcing the hand of the AD at OSU.

It looks like this could go for another week if you ask me.
