Dude I've watched both teams play. The Bama secondary nor Georgia secondary is on the level of UF's. I watched Bama make Mettenberger look like Johnny Football at times. Florida has the best CBs/secondary in the college game right now. That defense would allow Florida to win versus Bama. Also Florida runs the ball very well in big games. And Bama doesn't dominate the trenches on defense like they've done in past years. I think Florida would start killing Bama's offense when #10 has to win a game. Cooper wouldn't get open on Purifoy and Roberson. Nor would he be in single coverage seeing that he's Bama's only viable deep threat.

Gundy would also more than likely receive a counter offer from Ok State. I don't see him coming to UT without a salary north of 4 million per year. JMO.

You have to wonder what is going through Dave Hart's mind?

He has interviewed Gundy and Strong and is waiting for something. Is he not satisfied with the candidates that he has? Is he waiting for someone else to enter the fray?

We hear that Gundy supposedly has until Thursday to give an answer to Hart. Will Strong get the job by default? Dave Hart's silence points to the possibility that he does not want to go that route if he can help it.

I don't get this Hart-Gundy mess. Hart was at bama. He knows what it takes to win. We need a big time D and a balanced ball control Offense.

I love all 3 D's but UF is missing an elite pass rusher. The last 2 years we had to play our 2 best DT at SDE(floyd and Easley) once Powell went out we have to move our SLB McCray to WDE...if Powell, Bullard and Fowler take that next step as rusher then this unit will become elite imo.

So who do we trust more? LWS/skeet or hubbs?

LWS/skeet are hearing strong. And hubbs thinks we are waiting on Gundy? Is that right?

Human polls are pretty biased and depend way too much on preseason rankings.

"Waiting on Gundy," could mean multiple things. Maybe we're just waiting to know of Gundy's real interest in UT versus his other options.

Why do folks think Strong would be a poor recruiter at UT? I don't understand. He would have a top 10 class every year and a top 5 to 7 defensive class.

Keep Chaney as OC.

It is possible that Hart is waiting until after the HOF ceremony tonight to start letting the info fly. I think it is a good move to not overshadow Fulmer. Just a possibility, but I have no idea. I think Hart has control of the situation.

Last I recall, the team with the most points wins the game.

Play good defense and score lots of points takes care of most problems.

The only major difference in the schedules is the fact that UF played USCe.

Both are top 10 in pass efficiency. The big difference is on offense where UF is ranked 104th in the nation.

This could tie in with Mustafaa tweeting about it as well. I think its done and the coaches are putting it out there. Just a matter of time now.
