right now youre right, they are also at different stages of their careers.

Saban's MSU days werent all conference titles and Rose Bowls...

To the guys bycthing I have 2 points. First off Arky and Auburn are the other top programs trying to make hires and they are waiting for our scraps. Secondly, if Saban and Richt left today who would replace them. It would be a list of the same names your hearing now.

its just short sighted to have the basis of your judgement a box score from 3 games.

I remember this time last year, Kevin Sumlin had all but sewn up the aTm job, then Houston went and laid an egg in the Conf USA game.

aTm crowd lost their minds, fought against Sumlin getting job despite having a good if not great body of work.

Luckily, aggies stuck to their guns, year one, not too bad for them

It should be interesting to see who strong can pull away if he is indeed the next coach. I hope he can sway quick .

On another note, I have been surprised by this search in a good way. We have seen the last two hires become rushed and in now way methodical . Hart is doing this the right way it seems and really crossing his t's and dotting his I's to speak. I like his approach and it's what stability should feel like. We are on the path back!

Hubbs said to look out for Ellis Johnson for the DC spot at FSU. If that does indeed happen, Bedford will be coming with Strong IMO.

Yes sir, kid driven that is for sure. He set his goal and went out and made it happen. Good for him and I thank every man and woman in the armed forces that serve and protect us and our country!

I know of him but not a lot. Does he have any ties to Strong? Then again, why would you leave 12-0 and Urbs to come to UT.....

I don't know if you break the bank on a DC when it is pretty much Strong's defense. However, you may need to break the bank on an OC. The converse is true if a Gundy or Fedora is hired. IMO those are problems to have...
