so their starting QB got hurt before the biggest play of the game and they lost by 3?

hire him just so we can fire him to teach him a lesson, imo

I realize Strong will recruit florida well, but Louisville HC job is like working the frosty machine at wendy's compared to UT job. This is a good hire if your a top 20 program, not top 5.

No, you hire him and your stuck with him for a few years. Get ready, sit back and enjoy. If he can pull the top 5 talent level, it may offset any coaching deficiency.

Strong is a better looking hire on paper than Muschamp before he got to Florida. IJS

At least you've seen him as a HC in action.

You may be right, but do you think Muschamp will ever win a NC? Also, don't you think it is easier to recruit talent to Florida vs. Tennessee.

well, we can't relocate a university. it's easier to recruit florida. facts of life.

Saban does it......recruits good players and let's them go make plays. Amari Cooper bailed him out this year. Trent Richardson and that loaded defense last year. Julio Jones before then.

Strong.....Teddy Bridgewater has done it at Louisville.

I wonder what coach wins without good players. But I'm curious what coaching defiency are you talking about? Because every coach loses games.

This big deficiency you speak of, still haven't seen any evidence. Since you like box score digging, why don't you look at them before he arrived to the powerhouse the is Louisville football. I guess they make frequent BCS visits.

Muschamp has the best team in the SEC this year. And he'll be dominant again on defense next season.

Tennessee isn't hard to recruit to. Dooley showed that, he was incompetent on the recruiting trail and still brought in decent classes. You do the math.

Louisville was more talented then Syracuse and got curb stomped. Also more talented then Uconn. I'm a UT fan, I want them to win NC's. Saban wins with top talent, as long as Strong can recruit top talent just like Saban, he will win at UT.

As far as deficiency goes, I don't think he is as good of a defensive guy, as Chavis. I would rather have him, he is a UT guy.

The same feelings here..Something isn't right about this search..its so open i think its not really the truth...Hamilton seems better than Hart in terms of privacy or professionalism..Unless its all a show and what is being said is not what is really going on...guess we will see soon and can make judgments about alot of things. Feels like after the fulmer fire we really need someone to energize the fan base...Strong is weak for me
