His players would run through a wall for him. I couldn't care less how he is with the media. We're hiring a football coach, not a PR consultant.

all it takes is winning the ones we should and pulling one big one out for great PR. This fan base is so hungry.

Don't get me wrong, if Strong is the guy then I'd be very happy.... and yea, NSD will be great.

Still doesn't change how Hart allowed the Gruden story destroy this coaching search. Many fans won't be as quickly to let him forget either, especially when we struggle on the field next season.

There's no guarantee that Gruden was the answer. At all. The idea that missing on gruden set us back however many years is idiocy, not Hart's fault. It shouldn't destroy this coaching search. Those who let it can get over it.

I don't mean the missing on him. We will be just fine with Strong. But the AD let the Gruden storyline spread like wildfire and it should have been put out.

My opinion is the AD failed by allowing the Gruden stuff to own this search rather than getting out in front of that story and putting it to bed, he didn't fail by not getting Gruden.

The frenzy was only on message boards. The average fan of other schools couldn't care less. The "destroyed" coaching search is only in your own little world. I think he's doing a stellar job.
