So to spark some Strong discussion. Who would be top candidates for OC/DC?

We could dive into position coaches but thats just nuts and bolts right now, I want to know who the potential play callers would be.

I really like the thought of Ellis Johnson but would he be willing to work with Strong? Strong would want his hands in the defense and that could be an interesting duo if they could work together.

There is part of me that would like to see him keep Chaney, Graham and Pittman in place. If for no other reason than the offensive continuity. Maybe we try to get back Tee Martin. Let's be real, the offense wasn't the problem but could use some polishing. Maybe we should try to polish it instead of changing it completely?

On the defensive side of the ball, I don't know what to do there, but I think Strong's background would really be beneficial. I would trust him.

To all the Gruden fans,

Why is there a need for a smokescreen. Why the hell just not hire te man a week or two ago. It'd been nice to have him, but it will be nicer to have a quality head coach that wants to be here. Bring in Charlie!

This, so hard it hurts.

I admit I got a little bit excited about the Gruden rumors. When those got put to bed for me last week, it was a relief. I think Strong is a great option, I had him and Fisher as my second option. I am very happy he is the guy.

is it a reputable poster?

also tell em you can't hate when the pretty girl dumps you - just thank her for the good ride you had and move on

Im gonna say yes, but thats my opinion. I would try and talk to the guy but I got banned last night by a moderator for posting the info hubbs said about strong. He said I was a troll even though Ive been a member longer then him amd kept deleting my charlie strong thread. That same D***bag moderator is freaking out right now and I think its hilarious.

Don't let the bastards get you down.

Graham and Pittman sure, Chaney no. Chaney when it gets down to crunch time is way too predictable and his playbook seems small at times.

I like to score a ton of points, its fun but we really only need to score more than the other team and that means great defense and great run game.

As of this afternoon, looks like Kirby Smart has emerged as the leader for AU HC. Pat Dye may be getting his candidate.

Wow, I would love for that hire to happen.

Take a bite out of lil Nickys recruiting both staff wise and competition. I know he can recruit on his own but Smart will really impact his efforts in Georgia.

I am all for your idea. I just think a more smooth transition could be beneficial. It seems like the guys really like him (they played better for him than they did Dooley) and it might juts add some continuity. Fix the defense and keep the run game improving are the key points.
