Clay Travis reports we contacted Franklin but he declined. Also said Franklin turned down a $5 million a year offer from Arky. Most absurd thing I have ever read.

Great, I've got friends up there now. I started to move up there and work for Vanderbilt(Yeah go figure lol). There's a lot to do up there.

worked there for about 3 weeks this year so I got a chance to see some of the city. I'm a southfla guy and only have lived in Tallahassee, Atlanta and Miami so it going to be a change for me and the wifey. She's from the Bay and moved to Mia out of college.

It's a little more small town feel than those places, but there's enough to do that most of my friends from bigger cities, even NYC and Chicago, didn't feel like it was too small.

Except Chattanooga. I also have lived in several places but nothing like home.

I really enjoyed my stay in Nashville, but I love Chattanooga as well. Nice blend of city and suburban areas, plus the scenery is great.

I spent a summer in the nicer part of Houston, TX and loved it there as well. I think I like everywhere I've been, except Mississippi.

You will be disappointed.

You'll be fine. Pro teams in-state(Grizzlies within driving distance), good night life, crime rate not as bad as say Atlanta, plus you're married so you will be alright. :) I'm still thinking about moving up there or to Louisville. I've just got a house I own here that I'm remodeling. If the money right then I would take it.

No link but AU reporter said that Franklin and the de facto AD were hammering out extension as recently as last night.

I lived in Nacogdoches, TX. Dallas, TX & Virginia Beach. My youngest went to OceanLakes High & graduated same yr. as Justin Hunter.

Jesusland is a helluva place...you won't regret living there...except there won't be as many Gators as you're used to :)

On a side note, looks like Stoops is about to miss out on a BCS bowl. Pete Thamel is reporting Northern Illinois ended up getting a BCS bowl bid

Skeeter been quiet. Must not be much to report on. Hopefully tomorrow at work tomorrow he will hear something worth reporting.
