Miles had Sabans team and then Chavis. He's an offensive coach whose offenses have been average at best. He's a good recruiter and is the beneficiary of an elite DC and taking over an elite team. Bad example.
I still agree with your point, but LM is way overrated and I had to get on my soapbox for a sec.
I subscribe to them and so far they have been pretty spot on.
Oh, I agree, but last time we were talking about complete unproven coaches, and now we are talking about guys who have lead teams to BCS bowls and Larry Fedora.
I prefer Strong by and large over everyone else, but my backup is actually Fedora.
I agree. He is the 20th ranked run team in the country though.
But, he would have to tweak his offense for the SEC imo and hire a huge DC hire.
A poster on VQ said Bo Pelini has a $270,000 buyout at Nebraska. If that's true I really don't understand why Hart won't give him a interview. 49-18, 3 10-win seasons, playing in his 2nd conference title game tonight, won his conference division 3 out of 5 years at Nebraska. His defenses are consistently good/great at NU. He likes running the football & can develop talent. I've been saying for weeks that I thought Pelini should be our guy, but of the names being mentioned as candidates I'll gladly take Strong.
