I agree. He is the 20th ranked run team in the country though.

But, he would have to tweak his offense for the SEC imo and hire a huge DC hire.

If Jimbo is hired I will be doing a lot (more) of this I'm afraid. He is an upgrade from Dooley but that's not the barometer I am judging this hire on. That's easy. He is the worst choice of all the candidates mentioned except Golden imo. Strong, Mora, Gundy, Fedora, Fisher, Golden in that order imo.

Oh, I agree, but last time we were talking about complete unproven coaches, and now we are talking about guys who have lead teams to BCS bowls and Larry Fedora.

I prefer Strong by and large over everyone else, but my backup is actually Fedora.

Shoot... my source just told me "Little Bean" is out. I don't know what happened. I thought it was good. I'm thinking Hart screwed this deal.

I did. Thanks. And 247 is reliable. Sometimes late to be right. My question is this: if Dave Hart is so quiet, how do we know an order? Abdicate you get an interview, you can blow Hart away. If Strong is #3 now, if he impresses, he can come out as our coach.

I agree. Strong is far and away my number 1 but Fedora and Mora are next on my list.

I know I've said it a million times, but I want a coach dedicated to running the ball and playing defense.

I like Gundy, I just don't like the fit here. Hopefully either this is not true or Gundy and Fisher are just trying to get a raise and we will go with Strong.

Well I can tell you this...Strong's name has been mentioned a lot on Rocky Top but I think it is very unusual to offer a scholly to a player who was an FSU commit when we do not have a coach...
