I get the impression that Strong would be a hire that would unify a lot of the lettermen.
Am I crazy for thinking that?
Might not mean that much, but given that so many of them are more visible and vocal (either through social media, or traditional media), it could be pretty beneficial for them to provide a unified front.
Can't stand the Franklin love any longer. I have so much freaking work to do right now, but I can't resist:
Franklin in two years:
Vs ranked opponents 0-6 (.00)
Vs unranked opponents (14-5) (.64)
Vs teams with winning record 0-10 (.00)
Vs teams 500% 1-0 (1.00)
Dooley in 3 years:
Vs ranked opponents 0-15 (.00)
Vs unranked opponents 15-6 (.60)
Vs teams with winning record 4-20 (.20)
Vs teams 500% (before bowl game) 2-1 (.66)
Why in the name of all that is good and holy are people so adamant about Franklin? Look at the facts people!
I really want an OC who is dedicated to running that ball. I just don't see that being Chaney. He is too pass-happy and predictable, IMO. It sounds like White or White and Gonzales would be a good fit with Strong and they would run the ball.
