Just wanted to pop in and say wzup to my Grudenite homies and homettes! Been out all day, daughter was in a Xmas parade. Will try to make it back later tonight. Still hoping a miracle can happen and Gruden get his Chucky lookin ass to Knoxville!!

I am not saying they didn't contact Gruden, or even talk to him. I am saying I believe yesterday was the first official contact by a true university representative and Gruden told them he wasn't interested. Thats what I believe anyway.

I can believe he would do that to Hart, but not sure he would do that to the big boosters including manning, if they were involved in getting Gruden to consider the coaching job. Surely, Gruden would have told the boosters no before he told Hart, in which case Hart would have never contacted Gruden.

I think hart rubbed gruden the wrong way somehow. Maybe by telling him he was gonna interview other candidates. Who knows. If thats the case gruden probrobly would not want him to be his boss. I thinks it entirely possible hart would not give control of something and.gruden walked away. If that is the case haslams are friends withgruden. They can still recover the deal by booting hart and getting on the phone with gruden. I think the university has a huge huge pr problem now. If they dont somehow get gruden back on board, and someone else gets hired, fans will revolt and in the end same outcome will happen, hart will be booted.

Eddie George & Eric Dickerson were 6'3" so it's been done before. You're right though, there aren't many.

My opinion, the deal is dead. Hart screwing around with some Gruden personal issues to try to get the price down was the final breaking point and one that divided BTB, AD, and JG.

It would have absent the Lamonte story and Gruden withdrawing his name from consideration.

If Gruden were never considered or talked about, a lot of coaches that ARE in the hunt would be seen as huge upgrades but everyone is comparing them to Gruden.

I think a vast majority of the fanbase is going to support the coach no matter who it is until he gives us reason not to....unless his name is Golden.

I don't understand why people jump to so many conclusions when they have little to no idea as to what actual fact are in, or have been, in play in the situation.

That is what I'm trying to tell you. I think it is clear as day that this whole thing is being orchestrated. The OG's were warned there would be misdirection, I guess they didn't know they would be part of the misdirection.

What even more sickening i will be watching the sec championship game tonight n knowing if no grud legitimately how long before we r back n that game. Im sorry the names being mentioned just don't give me warm n fuzzies ..

Say it takes 3 years with strong.. will hart be at ut if he freaked this up? Probably not then new ad average coach n we r starting over again...

My god my son will be. 16 years old before tn might even be close to being relevant n that makes me furious ....lol

I say feed money to students via underground n start some riots on campus n the next couple of weeks n make hart understand he has to get it right....

I'm listening to the Ainge podcast from yesterdays show. Travis from Smokey Mountain Knife Works was on the show. He said that UT contacted him about the TN fund and will be coming to see him Tuesday. Ainge said that usually means they are close to hiring someone. That usually happen? In no way am I saying its Gruden. Just wondering if this is going to end soon.

Sort of figured Skeeter would have had a comment on the Strong interview by now. Maybe they are getting his office ready.

It's not over yet boys! A huge donor that broke contacts with UT bc of the whole Dooley fiasco has been contacted after 8 months of silence to have a sit down meeting Monday.

No coaches names were thrown out, all I know is he has been contacted and he will meet with members of UT Monday.

Fingers crossed!

This is exactly my concern: who is going to win this battle and get us some better players in here now. DD has left us with garbage in this current class.
