Guys who think Gruden is the only one who can win here are mistaken. We have almost 800 wins without him.
BBM I was told that the reason he was not coaching or pursuing coaching anywhere was he is staying in Tampa at least until the other two sons graduate. If that is true then I find it admirable.
I'm not saying it is fact but it does make sense. I don't think he played us or anyone else for that matter. Do we have facts that he has done anything or just what the media has said? I still hope it happens. :good!:
Please note I'm not listing realistic possibilities...just giving a list based on coaching and or recruiting.
Jon Gruden
Bob Stoops
David Shaw
Nick Saban
Les Miles
Pete Carroll
Charlie Strong
My real preference after Gruden is to get Tom Jurich and Charlie Strong in a package deal, truth be told. Not because I'm dissatisfied with Hart. I just love Tom Jurich.
I'm not giving up on it, as I honestly think that Gruden is the most likely candidate who can truly turn around Tennessee in the next 5 years.
Every other name I've heard sounds like Dooley 2.0.
I like the idea of Bob Stoops, but I really don't want a guy who is going to be remembered for his legacy elsewhere.
Morning Bruin.... I am trying to move on.... I think it is Strong now,
I still WANT GRUDEN... but don't see it happening now... plan to keep my bannere fro a while to serve as a reminder of how fooled I was
