Can't stand the Franklin love any longer. I have so much freaking work to do right now, but I can't resist:

Franklin in two years:

Vs ranked opponents 0-6 (.00)
Vs unranked opponents (14-5) (.64)
Vs teams with winning record 0-10 (.00)
Vs teams 500% 1-0 (1.00)

Dooley in 3 years:

Vs ranked opponents 0-15 (.00)
Vs unranked opponents 15-6 (.60)
Vs teams with winning record 4-20 (.20)
Vs teams 500% (before bowl game) 2-1 (.66)

Why in the name of all that is good and holy are people so adamant about Franklin? Look at the facts people!

Dont forget the fact this is also Vandy we are talking about. I am not saying he is my first choice lol, but would rather have him than Golden or any college coordinator if it came to that.

I dont think it will, I think Hart will hire Strong. He may already have.

I also would like to know when we started using "if he could do THAT at Vandy, imagine what he could do here..." as our measuring stick.

Vandy can rot in the ditch. We belong at the top and I don't want their dreg beating coach.

HG, whats your opinion on Billy Gonzales? Someone over on VQ mentioned him as someone Strong could look at as bringing in if he came.

Strong
Billy G
Doc Holliday

were the best recruiters Meyer had on his staff. Billy G is a great recruiter and very solid WR coach...UF WR haven't been ****e since he left bc Meyer gave the OC job to dazz. He got LSU some solid guys his one year there. I coudl see CCS bringing him in as Co-OC with a guy like B White.

The thoughts of UT staff under Strong on the recruiting trail :worship:

After reading their bio's I'd like to see him bring them in as Co-OC's, problem is one of them would have to coach a position & I'd love to retain Graham & Pittman, then either keep Hinshaw or bring in Tee.

May be this:

OC's: White, Gonzales
QB: Tee
RB: Graham
WR: Gonzales
OL: Pittman
TE: White

DC: Bedford
DL: Hurtt
LB: ?
DB: Bedford

Great stuff, nick. If you did the same for Dan Mullen, it would also be similar to what you posted above.

Really?? The fact is one has a winning record, at Vandy of all places while the other turned Tennessee into a national joke.

Posted in another thread that CCS coaches LB...his LBC at L'ville is young and pretty solid. Has 3 players in the NFL he coached at GT.

BG can also coach ST.

Yea I remember you posting the link the the LB coach yesterday, so maybe bring him w/ CCS & they both coach up the LB's.

Let Gonzales coach ST's & Co-OC, that would allow us to keep Hinshaw at WR coach possibly.

Imagine Strong, Hurtt, & Hinshaw recruiting the state of Florida :)

Graham & Pittman recruiting North Carolina, Virginia, & South Carolina,

Tee recruiting Alabama & Kentucky.

We would need someone to get a strong hold in Georgia.

I know Strong is a defensive guy, but I wouldn't feel good about loading up so many offensive coaches and hardly having any defensive coaches knowing the makeup of our team.

This is good stuff. I wouldn't have guessed so many stats were similar.

I truly believe Franklin's DC is as important to his success as Malzahn was to Chizik. Franklin is offensive guy and his offense got worse from year 1 to 2. That is with an easier schedule and better talent.

Most teams go with 5 offensive coaches and 4 defensive, with 1 coach also taking the kicking game. That is what Jmoore posted.

B White does work in Ga. Hard to beat Ga for most guys but he gets UF in the door.
