Charlie has come a long way with his interviewing skills IMO. He is way more polished now than some of the other press conferences from the beginning of his Louisville tenure.

I noticed that when I was watching his interviews yesterday. He seemed nervous in his older ones.

There is one thing for sure, no matter who Hart hires there will be haters and lovers in here. As far as Franklin goes, I agree with O&W's post.

i know i am not in the majority on this one - but getting turned down doesnt bother me at all - to me if you think they are the best option you offer them and see what they say

i am not saying franklin is clearly the best option - but the fact that he might turn me down or make some spectacle about it doesnt concern me in the least

if i were the AD i'd take my top 10 list regardless of how crazy some might look and start going down it - i dont care if i get turned down 9 times - i want to make sure i am getting the best coach i can possibly get and not settling for someone that will def say yes

I think Strong would have far less lovers than haters. Fisher would also receive a lot more love than hate. Fedora would probably be closer to 50/50.

Al Golden would throw the fanbase, myself included, into a frenzy of hate.

honestly after 31K came to Stanford's game last night i would give Shaw another call and see if he wants to coach at a school that gives a %$#*

Can't stand the Franklin love any longer. I have so much freaking work to do right now, but I can't resist:

Franklin in two years:

Vs ranked opponents 0-6 (.00)
Vs unranked opponents (14-5) (.64)
Vs teams with winning record 0-10 (.00)
Vs teams 500% 1-0 (1.00)

Dooley in 3 years:

Vs ranked opponents 0-15 (.00)
Vs unranked opponents 15-6 (.60)
Vs teams with winning record 4-20 (.20)
Vs teams 500% (before bowl game) 2-1 (.66)

Why in the name of all that is good and holy are people so adamant about Franklin? Look at the facts people!
