Thats exactly my point sir. NOBODY knows. I'm assuming when Hart is done interviewing his candidates then we will know. Thats how these things work. Its not some crazy conspiracy like everybody is claiming. If it was,it would have already been exposed. By reliable media who would actually name their sources, cause they would have nothing to hide.

I agree no one knows. But to say that "reliable" reporter who has been established in here and has been steadfast to his story with the backing of his employer- both given long time credibility- and won't name his source---because every report today concerning a news outlet led with their "source".
Find me the reporters in investigative reporting naming their sources. It is the norm not the rarity.

guys i think gruden would do very well here, but i'm gonna have to let the dream die...i really think charlie strong will do great things for our program and that is who i hope hart will get...his defesnses over the past decade have been top notch and nobody can dispute that. i also think that strong is humble enough to retain the majority of our current staff (graham, pittman, hinshaw, chaney).
I feel that we have been so caught up in who the head coach will be, that we have lost sight of what we truly support. we support the players. we support the university. we will support the head coach of the football team whomever that may be. i will be patient with our football program. i don't care how long it takes. i've been a vol for 6 years. unfortunately they have been the worst years in Tennessee history, but i will be there to support the players that rep UT regardless of the coach is.

Boy, the football forum will be more insufferable than ever now that the Gruden deal was fawked up. They will all posture and flaunt about their predictions as though there was never any credibility with all the Gruden chatter.

1 group I would like to thank during all this is the current players... we have been through 4 defensive coordinators in 5 years, and will be 5 in 6 soon, along with much more staff turnover. The biggest continuity has been the OC, for 3 years now. They are heroes for sticking through this, and need to be our #1 priority no matter who the hire is. Cheers to the players! Win or lose, go vols!

Im not saying he isn't reliable. Just saying maybe his sources knows about as much as everybody else's sources. Jack squat. And if it is true, then why wait sooooo long to announce. When they know we need a serious makeover on this years recruiting class and that window is closing rapidly. I don't understand if its done, what is there to gain from waiting so long to announce. Just doesn't add up to me
