If we pick a coach that is in a contract, I would assume he would have a buy out clause. Would we possibly have to help with the buy out? Looks like form that angle alone you could justify more money for the Gruden hire and his assistants. I assume Gruden would not have a buy out issue.

I hate to do this to everyone, i really really do but babyvol is not backing down. Says he believes his info to still be solid. Said he won't be making post about it this time but he did still believe his info to be solid.

It's not that far fetched. Mal is 73. That job won't be taken forever. Might the hire of Jon Gruden piss off the midget? That's the rumor. Not saying I believe yet. Just have heard some talk about that here and there.

I'm so angry with he UTAD at this point that I can't stand it. If all of this grudn talk from today is true with them allowing fan expectations to,get where they were, it is gross dereliction of duty. They have set themselves up for failure before even starting. Not a good idea to piss off a large chunk of your fan base and lose support of whatever coach you choose before he is even hired because you are so far up your own butt ignoring whatever social media is out there. This is the first I've heard of any boosters meeting face to face with Gruden, let alone obtaining a verbal agreement. I wish it were all true, but it is difficult to believe it all when it's based on hearsay. I don't doubt there is some truth in there.

I've posted some on here of late but have followed since the beginning. I have some decent political connections in this town. Heard yesterday there was a closed door meeting sometime a month or so ago in Club LeConte between a bunch of boosters and Gruden.

I also have personal connections into the financial side of UT. I am not surprised one bit what is coming out. I believe the Chattanooga reports 100% as well as the OGs here.

UT is a disaster, that's all I'll say. They treat their best and brightest like garbage and allow everyone else to do whatever they please. If I hear top 25 research institution one more time I'm going to go crazy. Anything the admin at UT touches, they eff up. There's no leadership and hasn't been for a decade. They don't ever fire the problems. There are people that have loads of power that have been there for 30 years that do nothing but bleed the taxpayers dry. It's sickening. This is sickening.

This. The fact that our state is not so loaded with talent is the key. Alabama is loaded with talent and has good coaching. The only way to make that up is through better coaching.

We have as big of a regular fanbase or bigger...a superior coach would bring recruits, better development and more revinue.

It makes no sense for Gruden to unnecessarily forfeit his payment from TB.

We have to got to find out what the heck blew up! I mean this whole deal is unreal. It's so "cloak and dagger". Is Hart that much of a prick to sabotage the deal a deal that by most counts was all but done.

Perhaps now Gruden has no desire to work for a pompous egomaniac AD like Hart????
