Can someone please pull a Cousin Eddie and get Hart delivered to one of the OGs homes to get this s@#t straightened out? And I want the bow on his head. I have been following since Gruden I and think the OGs deserve a large showing of respect, gratitude and continued support. Do not let these johnny come latelys bring you down. Full steam ahead, and I am all in til the OGs are out!

I dont know that for sure, just hearing bits here and there and trying to put them together. I do not believe Gruden ever had a contract in front of him from Tennessee, im sure boosters talked money with him though.

I get it...I really do understand if he truly feels that way.
Hell if I were in his position I might feel the same...
The problem I have with this is the way it has been left (i.e., "fantasy land"). If I had close personal ties to this football community (which he does), there's no way in HELL I would leave it that way, especially knowing how much we BLEED orange here.
Gruden is Haslem's #1 Target...Know for a fact if Hart wins this battle he will be going against the Haslem's. Just received a call back from a good friend that just got off the phone with Gov. Haslem's right hand man. He said he goes wherever Gov. Haslem goes and is with him religiously. He said the Haslem's are swinging for the fence with Gruden. He says they were pursuing Gruden hard and negotiations were not over. He says that all the negative vibes from the TN camp and the Gruden camp was formality and bs. His story was very consistent with Hargis' about money for assistants. Just reading between the lines, the Memphis story and the Chattanooga story's have big time sources. I am not saying this deal is going to happen, but I feel Haslem and Co. are pursing him hard. I can't see Hart winning this battle if Gruden indeed wants this extra money.
After listening to Ainge and Basilio today, I felt they were very level-headed and agreed with Hargis for the most part.
Hyams and Hubbs...different story.
In short, I gained alot of respect for Ainge, Basilio, and especially Stephen Hargis after today.
4) This is not dead until UT hires a coach. There is a pattern of misdirection like we have seen in every major coaching hire - most notably Saban and Meyer. While this feels like a longshot at this point, what we have experienced this week is normal when compared to those two hirings.
The "Blood Bath" occurred on Wednesday between AD and BTB (Big Time Boosters). I'm not sure that they can be repaired. It will be interesting so see how much financial support will be offered to the next candidate.
This is why it was critical to Hart to get the $18M from Cheek. At that point he could do what he wanted, Boosters be damned.
So, with Skeet saying Strong could be the coach before Mora is even talked to, can we all call him a troll and bash his credibility if Strong isn't announced by Monday? And if he isn't announced as HC by Monday, does that make people feel better about Gruden?
