I am merely a guy who wants his team to win and knows in order for that to happen, we need a tireless recruiter, master motivator, and accompished coach. I don't caught up in childish feuds over where a man worked at or what he may have ever said.

If you want to be the best, you find the guy whom will make you the best no matter where he is at or where he works.

Franklin is that coach.

1st, Franklin is a decent coach that beat 1 bowl bound team. If Miss. St wins the Egg Bowl, he doesn't beat any bowl bound teams. It's all relative.

2nd, just like with Gruden fans, there is more than 1 coach that can get it done here and we are looking at coaches that have beaten more than 1 .500 team.

Look no doubt the guy has done something nobody ever has at Vandy and kudos to him there. But hes doing it during the worst stretch run UT has ever had, Auburn was horrible as well as Kentucky. Ole Miss was their best win and even they are not that great. Its just damn good timing. When the other schools start turning it around Vandy will be Vandy again and he better cash that check before he gets stuck there.

What do you think of our chances with D.Green, V.Bell if indeed it is Strong? And do you think he would stay with Feguson at QB or go after AW?

North, Bell and Green are just looking for a reason to come to Tennessee, i think Strong would do fine there. I think kids like Ramsey, Quick, Hurd ect would give us a very hard look. I think he would lock up TKJR in a hurry too.

I'd think Hatcher would be another who might look at us again.

What has fedora done? Not sarcasm, I really don't know his resume.

A successful OC at MTSU and UF, then had a nice run at Southern Miss. Took UNC to a division win this year in year 1 amid a lot of NCAA investigations and won't get to play for ACC. He's been a winner everywhere he's been. The offense version of Charlie Strong, imo. Either will do for me.

4 years as HC at Southern Miss. Has a winning record each year and was 12-2 in 2011. In 2012 he went to UNC and went 8-4. UNC won their division, but are not eligible for postseason play. Fedora is the former OC at Oklahoma St, Florida, and MTSU.

By no way am I lobbying for Fedora... I want Strong.

But Fedora was the OC at UF from 2002-2004. He led Southern Miss to a 12-2 record last year. Southern Miss is 0-12 this year. He has led UNC to an 8-4 record this year and 5-3 in the ACC. Last year, UNC was 7-6 overall and 3-5 in the ACC..

A poster on VQ asked Corner36 how Strong would do recruiting Ramsey, Bell, & Elder. His response.

He would do great. He has great relationships with them. He has great relationships with the Carolina recruits. He has great relationships with certain big FL and GA recruits as well. I would predict a top 5-10 class this year and a monster top 3 class in 2014 class. The surprising thing is the relationships he has with kids on the team. Guys on the team absolutely light up when they talk about Strong and their Strong recruiting stories. I was really surprised by this.
