If they name another as coach, we can still hang out. Because sooner or later that coach will lose, retire, move on and we will need GRUDEN again. Everyone stay positive.

I agree, but it seems odd to stay in a thread about a coach that is not coming and that information has been made public. Just my 2 cents, but thats why i am bowing out of the thread. That and Yay4Bray is and has been on my nerves for a while. He will still be popular here though, telling people what they want to hear and all without a single basis in fact.

I was down in the dumps earlier today, but I got rejuvenated plus I'm enjoying a delicious beverage right now.:)

How can anyone believe there ever was a chance and not still believe there is one.

To all those like Mr. Orange and FAderoute You should expect more from your University. UT fans have been conditioned to just lay down or go home when something did not go there way. It is time for a change if you want UT to compete with The Alabama (I am happy with the Dolphins) Crimson Tide.

UT has been at the top and can get there again. Quit acting like losers and expect a win.

No, you are dead on. It's not like that is a well guarded secret or anything. And I fail to see how that will still lead us to getting Gruden. I'm sure Hart either knows Haslam can get rid of his a$$ or simply doesn't care. It's not like he is so cluless that he is going to have a revelation and think "gosh, if I don't hire Gruden, Haslam will make sure I lose my job."

If I had to put a top 3 LIKELY, JMO, it would be

1. Strong
2. Fisher
3. Mora

Would still like to see a Stoops or a Gundy hire, even Patterson or Shaw. I think all 4 of those are off the table.

Last nite I posted no press conf today. When I got that news last night, I didn't kow the rest of the story but had a feeling that something fell through. Turned out that nothing was there to fall through after all. I'm glad that I didn't stay up that late last night.

Alabama had a coach for a full day and still landed Saban. Money gets what Money wants. I believe it will be closer to the end of MNF when UT gets what it wants.

Yay4Bray had a lot of us buying into what he was selling but not anymore. It's pretty obvious he's FOS.

Feels like the last night at church camp with everyone ending thier one-week romances and promising to write when they get back to thier respective home towns. It's not supposed to end this way! I want to see some mother umph'n mattresses burn!
