All the while, every leak that is reported lines up with what the OGs have said all along. Gruden and Hart (who aren't morons) haven't shot this down. The most "credible" voice to say anything on the matter Rick Venturi, who just so happens to be friends with Gruden, says that Gruden to UT is a very real possibility.

Tonight, the eve of the often quoted 11/30 date where every OG said things would look bleak so that Hart could appear to save the day, suddenly becomes bleak, with nothing of credible value sticking. We have multiple people shooting the rumors down, but none of them can confirm anything from Gruden, and the majority of them have shoddy at best track records. Again, Hart has nothing to say, and all evidence can't pry out a single interview/visit with any of the other people supposedly on our list.

The money, the Cindy angle, the Haslam/Peyton scenario - this has all been spelled out for us up to this point, damn near to a T. Why are so many suddenly claiming that the sky is falling when this exact scenario is exactly what so many folks have told us would happen from the getgo. It may not be tomorrow, and it may not be the weekend, but until Gruden himself directly shoots it down (when he's had ample time/opportunities to) or Hart says we've moved on, why in the world do so many people think this thing is dead?[/

Said it earlier, bears repeating. If Hart hires Golden, then I will have to believe the conspirators that say he was sent from Bama to completely destroy Tennessee football

For those of you who kept saying believe, believe, believe. You have to remember that Christmas doesn't come until December 25. So in the mean time, make sure you make your list and check Gruden twice. Santa's gonna find out if you're playing naughty or nice on the forum. Then on Christmas Eve, you guys should make orange and white sugar cookies and wait for Santa to put Gruden under your tree. Remember that old line from the Field of Dreams. If you bake it, he will come. Bake baby bake!!! :)

Heard a rumor, and I NEVER post rumors that I hear (even though I'm fairly well connected), but I'll throw this one out there anyway to add to the pandemonium...


Wes Rucker is having Mark May's baby. It's going to be mostly intellectually challenged, will eventually learn to put out absurd rumors and analysis that people will occasionally inexplicably believe, somehow gain credit for things it has never done and get paid for it, and have a patchy beard with medium dark skin.

You heard it here first. TIFWIW

he is seriously in the wrong profession... I think he would be much better off blogging about world of warcraft or tech stocks.... Really has no business being a beat writer for a major program. Can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen. Square peg, round hole... all that jazz.

All week we've heard this negative "not possible" and "never happen" nonsense only to hear the next day leaks about scheduled meetings not happening and terms still being argued over. If anyone's keeping score, the OG's are the ones who so far are much more in the right than the negative crowd saying none of this stuff would happen in the first place. Just on movement of events alone, facts of occurrences point slowly in the direction of the OG's. Just sit back and watch. Stop jumping on these guys' backs every time a Rucker or Hyams comment comes out. Until the position is filled or Gruden comes out and says NO, we're still in progress.
