I swear if if Gruden falls through and were stuck with a Golden shower because hart was sitting around..... I'm gonna go Hacksaw Reynolds on a car!
So first it was money, then control of the AD, now it's stating he wouldn't be comfortable in college like he would the NFL.
Excuse, after excuse, after excuse. None of them have stuck, yet every day, national/local media comes up with some new sticking point that Gruden is no longer in play, well after they spend a large portion of time saying he'd never be in play in the first place.
All the while, every leak that is reported lines up with what the OGs have said all along. Gruden and Hart (who aren't morons) haven't shot this down. The most "credible" voice to say anything on the matter Rick Venturi, who just so happens to be friends with Gruden, says that Gruden to UT is a very real possibility.
Tonight, the eve of the often quoted 11/30 date where every OG said things would look bleak so that Hart could appear to save the day, suddenly becomes bleak, with nothing of credible value sticking. We have multiple people shooting the rumors down, but none of them can confirm anything from Gruden, and the majority of them have shoddy at best track records. Again, Hart has nothing to say, and all evidence can't pry out a single interview/visit with any of the other people supposedly on our list.
The money, the Cindy angle, the Haslam/Peyton scenario - this has all been spelled out for us up to this point, damn near to a T. Why are so many suddenly claiming that the sky is falling when this exact scenario is exactly what so many folks have told us would happen from the getgo. It may not be tomorrow, and it may not be the weekend, but until Gruden himself directly shoots it down (when he's had ample time/opportunities to) or Hart says we've moved on, why in the world do so many people think this thing is dead?

Dood, he's not coming. End of story.
They are gonna show Hart and Gruden together at the basketball game tomorrow and break it live on an ESPN basketball game. This also gets some serious pub for Cuonzo's team and then it's discussed all weekend on the ESPN network family. He does MNF and then has the official press conference Tuesday. Lots of PR dollars for the UT brand over a 5 day hiring extravaganza ....5 days of Grudmas
i say all this with my tinfoil hat on of course
