Some people would think it's a strange coincidence that Monte left USC the day before some on here said the presser is supposed to take place. Monte has very close ties to Gruden ... especially during his Super Bowl days. Monte also has close ties to UT. If I remember right he really didn't seem to want to go when his son bolted from UT.

I would think he may go to Seattle or be a consultant. He talked in 09 about retiring from coaching soon so I doubt he coaches. I'd say he is a consultant. If Gruden goes NFL, I think Raheem Morris would be his DC, as he promoted him when Monte left and he isnt 70 years old and hasnt been hammered in PAC 10/12 last 3 years

Raheem got promoted to DC days before Gruden was fired. Kind of ironic.
