LWS is posting on 247 that both parties have gone as far as it goes and sounds like an agreement has not been reached...

Butch Jones appearing as next possible Purdue coach is big indication imo UT has their guy and Butch isnt their guy. This is commonplace when a school has their guy, others will accept other jobs or pull out of contention for a job they were never offered

Credentials?

According to legend, he was a field goal kicker, rather small of stature, born and raised in Eastern Europe, escaped to freedom across the iron curtain and walked on at UT. Kicked soccer style and was known for this saying - "I keeeeck the touchdown! I keeeeck the touchdown!" after a successful kickoff, field goal or extra point.

Or maybe that was 0ldV0l. :)

What I'm hearing is JG has to decide between the UT coaching position and replacing Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State. As much as he would love the UT job, he has stated that facing Al Qaeda, The People's Republic of China and the Russian Army would certainly be an easier schedule than he would face in the SEC every year.
