the AD has said they would be honored. Same happened when Kiffin came in. If you don't think that would have held up then that's a personal opinion. All we really have to go on is what was said publicly. Being told he wouldn't be a QB at UT is not the same as saying we no longer have a scholarship for you

The AD said it would be up to the new coach... hold on while I find the presser and timeframe...

Boyd’s scholarship was not pulled despite a report to the contrary from a recruiting Web site Wednesday afternoon, the source said.

“(Kiffin) said he would honor the scholarship if he still wanted to come, but he didn’t want Tajh coming there and then being unhappy,” Tim Boyd told the Daily Press in Newport News, Va. “It’s not like he pulled the offer. He said he wants what’s in Tajh’s best interest.”

I mean, I see what your saying... It wasnt actually pulled, but Kiffin made it clear he wouldnt really see the field. So in essence, its like saying you can come, you just probably wont see the field. For a sought after recruit, the choice is obvious. But its almost the same thing as pulling the scholarship in the first place. Nonetheless, Hart still said that decision would be up to the new coach and I see the new coach going in a different direction if better possibilities are realistic.

disagrees with what? Show me a link where his offer was pulled

For clarification Taj Boyd's scholarship was not pulled. Kiffin met with him and told him he would honor his scholarship offer but he not play QB for him that his style did not fit Kiffin's system.

can but probably won't. Not every kid committed to Fulmer ended up signing with Kiffin but the scholarships would have still been honored

This is not accurate. We have dropped several offers in the last few years late in the process. Tajh Boyd comes to mind. Imani Cross is another. There were others.

Boyd's offer was never dropped. Anything after that is irrelevant to this discussion as it has nothing to do with s coaching change.

please read the thread. Cross was not during a coaching change and Boyd's offer was not pulled (even his dad said that)
