That even though it is a huge splash hire, an announcement today would make it through ESPN for a couple days and still be talked about a lot, but if you Announced on Friday, there's conference championships, GameDay on Friday/Saturday and it would be breaking news on those days, and be all over the TV plus being discussed.

The news would still be hot by the weekend. No argument it would be hotter if they wait until Friday. The hotter the better.

THis is crazy, it is so funny how National and REgional media have gotten whiff or what's going on, but the local media is playing in the sand...That tells me the leaks are coming either from Gruden's end of things...JMO
