Just read Basilio's blog. He now states what we've been stating on here all along. If Gruden is there to be had, how can UT pass it up?

Lombardi could come out of his grave and some would have objections, some would say he couldn't recruit or that hart didn't like him or he didn't want to give up control. Makes you wonder sometimes!!! GO VOLS GET GRUDEN!! RETURN TO PROMINENCE!!

Playing devils advocate here....

I think it's currently a lot more difficult to recruit at Tennessee than it is USC

Probably true.
It could be a wash tho when you look at where Tee is recruiting. Its a lot easier to pull west coast guys to USC. He gets the guys that are more difficult for USC and seems to be pretty successful at it.

Truly believe Dooley was meant to finish the year per the timetable needed for Gruden. The Vandy game pushed the clock forward. We all knew Dooley was gone but in terms of candidates "needing" to get out front on their own situations this speed things up. IMO

Lol. Dooley even screwed up getting himself fired.

Kiffin didn't hire Tee for his position coaching expertise. He hired him for the recruiting skills and contacts he brought.

You just gotta enjoy the whole experience. No need in anyone getting all crazy....yet.

Following the last two coaching searches were like torture. In comparison, this one is a walk in the park because I'm confident we'll get a good coach.

Didn't someone say around Tuesday or Wednesday the media would sound back on Gruden as a possibility. Sounds like Ainge and Basilio are creeping back.
