I'd rather have the HFC at Fayetteville HS (throwing that one out cause I lived there as a kid) coaching the Vols than Jon Gruden. However, keep on keeping on, lemmings....IF Gruden is hired (which is looking far less likely as the days go by, or so I keep praying to every deity that's ever been recognized), he WILL change your tune, ladies and gentlemen......and I'll be sitting in the corner laughing at all of you.

I don’t see how the NFL could keep Gruden from talking to any coach whether it be for an NFL or college team. He is not currently employed by the NFL in any form or fashion. He is no different than you and I from that standpoint. They can’t tell him who he can and cannot talk to. They have no jurisdiction with regards to his activities.

Dont' get me wrong, I want Gruden here as much as anybody but the fact that he is talking to NFL coaches about a position on his staff does not mean it can't be for the NFL because of a rule that only applies to NFL coaches of which he is not currently. :hi:

I've got a feeling the leak will come through the national media instead of the local. I believe earlier posts about the local media being under a gag order of sorts.

Not putting this on the Quotes, if someone would like to add to quotes that would be fine......

Someone close to Hubbs told me Hart, and or Brass was flying to Florida this week to talk to Gruden and Fisher.........:good!:

I think it's currently a lot more difficult to recruit at Tennessee than it is USC

Truly believe Dooley was meant to finish the year per the timetable needed for Gruden. The Vandy game pushed the clock forward. We all knew Dooley was gone but in terms of candidates "needing" to get out front on their own situations this speed things up. IMO

No argument here, but recruiting to USC is a little easier than UT. Would be glad to have Tee back, but would also like to keep Hinshaw.
