Awww, I got put on ignore cause I hurt a poor widdle Gwudenite's feewings!!!!

#grudenisGARBAGE

I'd rather have the HFC at Fayetteville HS (throwing that one out cause I lived there as a kid) coaching the Vols than Jon Gruden. However, keep on keeping on, lemmings....IF Gruden is hired (which is looking far less likely as the days go by, or so I keep praying to every deity that's ever been recognized), he WILL change your tune, ladies and gentlemen......and I'll be sitting in the corner laughing at all of you.

Before I also put you on ignore....Why are you so rude, hateful and spiteful? I know the Army does not teach this because I am married to an Airborne Ranger (who leads the Way)...You state you PRAY "or so I keep praying to every deity that's ever been recognized), he WILL change"

Christians Do not act this way..Have a great day,,Ignored.. Gruden :hi:

However, Once gruden is announced I will remove you from my ignore list just to be sure you heard the news. :clapping:

No, I get that, but would you rather sit in a corner and laugh if UT continues to fail? Or would you rather be wrong. I know you don't think you're wrong, but wouldn't you rather be wrong than UT continuing to be horrible?

Besides the Fayetteville HS coach, who would you like to be the next coach?

You misunderstand me. I don't want UT to fail, hence the reason I'm so dead-set against the hire of Jon Gruden. I may be wrong, but facts suggest that I'm not. However, if I am, I will admit to such.....but it's gonna take a hell of a lot more than some face-making and the name "Jon Gruden" to convince me. Consecutive national championships should suffice, I think.

To answer your question: If the show-cause could be lifted or reduced, I'm firmly in the Jim Tressel camp. Like him or not, the man can absolutely coach his rear end off. If not.....I haven't given it much thought, but Butch Davis wouldn't be a bad hire, IMO. Stoops isn't leaving OK, and Fisher's not leaving FSU any time soon.

Just to clarify for everybody, I am not saying Friday, I am merely repeating what Slice has been saying for days now.

Unfortunately I believe the 30th will be a day of decision for the average UT fan. If it comes and goes with no announcement, I feel this place will riot and jump the Gruden ship.

Another tidbit I heard,
Look for Hinshaw to move to FL as wide receiver coach. I also hear Tee will be leaving his current position! Mmmmmm.

Unsure if true but thought I would pass along.

Patrino was also told to stop calling our AD and that we were not interested. He was begging for the job basically!

Hahahaha, thanx cheese for the laugh I sooo needed that. For starters he will be the next coach, contrary to you saying its looking less likely, actually looking more than likely. Lastly if you think he wont recruit at an unreal level and be one of the best if not the best coach in college football then your living in some fantasy world. And I look forward to laughing at you and Gruden proving you wrong over and over. Thanks again Cheese that was a much needed laugh.

Show me one place that I've ever said I was a Christian, and I'll never post here again. Fact of the matter is, me and God ain't on speaking terms, and I like it that way. But, since you got me on ignore....later, lemming.

Never claimed to have inside sources and I have held off completely but I firmly believe this will happen. I am on the phone now having a discussion from somone in the know. I am about to leave the office for the day but I will leave with this... it is done and will be announced Friday. The media is apart of this in specific circles and have been asked to spin it is at best and will not part take in the vent afterwards if leaked, they will be ruined at TN if so. This explained a lot of Hubbs wish-washyness. My contact has very reliable sources and has mirrored everything Boro has been stating.

You are about to witness the biggest hire in NCA history and the best marketing ploy by our beloved university. I truly believe this individual and rarely have need to talk to him back home untl recently. It is done!

I'm normally skeptical, but the part about the media seems to be legitimate. There is just no way that Hubbs and others are this incompetent on their own.

The back and forth by all of the media is just too much to dismiss.

And all because you said so. Whoda thunk it?? Ladies and gentlemen....I present to you.....UT's Athletic Director!!!!

The statement to bring the vest here is absurd. For all the legwork you put into proving you think Gruden isn't the guy you have forgone any information seeking on tressel.
He is and will always be a POS and 2 tone tommy who will---repeat--will--bring nothing but trouble.

They are all starting to come around and finally say they're ignorant to the whole process since the AD has been completely (and I mean completely) silent.

Gruden can't fail if he comes here. He would recruit elite talent with ease. In four years we would be loaded and coaching would be very easy, and by the way, he is a damn good coach too.

After Friday I'm moving on to lobby for Petrino. Stoops or Fisher seem logically out. No one left. Got a strong feeling we end up with Strong. My still reliable source said that about the time the Gruden stuff got started.

You wont have to lobby. But regardless I would bet 10 yrs salary with anyone that Petrino wont be coaching UT.

To be honest, the exact same thing could be said about Gruden, but none of you want to hear it.

If that's the case, I've got a whole lot of company....

So, lemme get this straight, it's not allowed to post a differing opinion in here?? Every time I have, I get called names.....whoda thunk it??

Because Gruden is crap. Let me count the ways. Oh, wait, I already did that. See below (*andy's post*)

And another one bites the dust. Goodbye, lemming.

Since you were honest, didn't call names, and were polite, I'll do this for you. The rest of y'all might wanna take a second and read this. They're called FACTS, and they're pretty darned hard to argue with.

I think there is a huge difference in NFL and NCAA FB. I think if indeed he does get hired that our recruiting makes a huge jump. I also feel that the kids will play hard for him trying to make an impression. They know he has the right NFL connections. I think their are better X and O coaches out there. I don't think they could get the talent in as fast as Gruden though. To me that is the main attraction of Gruden.

We need to keep Hinshaw IMO. That would be bad.
