Every game Philly loses is not good for us Vols who want Gruden. I'm just feeling like Gruden wanted to see the team for himself last night before he made any decisions about his future. Gruden said " I'll walk away from this game remembering the turnovers and penalties". Which IMO is Gruden saying this team lacks discipline and we all know that starts with the head coach. I hope I'm wrong cause I want Gruden as much as anyone but he just Gruden sounded more like a prospect evaluating a team he might be interested in last night than he did an announcer.

The front page of the TFP reads:

GRUDEN TO COACH VOLS?

It's advertising two articles on the coaching search on the sports page, one of which is the Hargis article, and the other talks about Stoops and Fisher's lack of interest in leaving.

Louisville still has a regular season game this weekend. Doubtful they go after Strong before next week.

I thought it had been said a million times that Gruden couldn't coach in the nfl until 2016? Isn't that what it says in his Espn contract?

Ainge saying Butch will be cleared on Thursday of any wrong doing and then there is the speculation of a Friday announcement. He isn't saying its Butch. Put the pitch forks down. They are alluding to it.

Strong would have a ceiling for wins lower than what Tennessee needs imo.

We have to have someone we KNOW can contend for championships not someone that some people THINK can win championships.

If we have to go to #2 my list would be

2. Stoops
3. Petrino
4. Patterson or Jimbo Fisher

Beyond that I would make some crazy calls to see if we can someone like Pete Carroll or another sitting HC from NFL.

If down to Strong, Golden, or Fedora we are Ole Miss East for the next decade imo.

I've heard that..and discussed it several times. I don't think that would be binding. It may take some work, but contracts are made to be broken.

Oh no! Woke up this morning feeling different. No reasons, but I think I lost my "Grud-on". Still want him, but just burnt out from following it. Gonna try to stay off here today and get some work done. See you guys later this afternoon.
