Whats your opinion on the wild Beast? I mean dont get me wrong I thought it was ok but to me it was a lot more to lose than gain.

When the other team has got a real Defense it will fail more than it will work. You are in essence telling the def that we are absolutely running the ball.

Not really about this year specifically, just in general observations of trends thru the years.

I think they would get smashed by bama, uf, uga, and maybe usce(depending on when they played them) this year.. And it's like that every year. They don't play anybody with a defense close to what we face.

The way AJ runs, u gotta get him the ball.. We don't have a rb that physical.. The defense knows what's coming and still can't stop it.. And these r the best defenses in the country he's running over.

I know... but that is not the point of my observation however. If you will go back, and read my original post you will see what I am talking about. I am refering to historical trends and similarities, not any specific years success. :hi:

But they did stop it several times. I said that a real defense would stop it more than it worked. That is just my feelin, but I dont hate it, and think it is a valuable part of the offense. :hi:

I will say this also regarding the wild beast. It probably worked better than any other option we could have used in short yardage situations.

Basilio
Once UT gets that list whittled down, I can't imagine them not going back and giving Gruden a shot to at least explain himself and have the opportunity to overcome UT's objections to his candidacy as UT's next head coach.

I'm sorry but this guy is just 'to good'.. He should do standup or at the very least write for comics... smdh..

These threads get weird after 2am.

Far better than trying to keep up during the day. I mean, try finding just one post after fifteen minutes on here. Like trying to find a virgin in a maternity ward.

Night shift...way different and not as much ping factor that the normal human hours crew deals with. The roller coaster of emotions from every nuance of every tweet being over analyzed to every report and the doomer types that think the worlds going to end because they put their all in for Gruden and a difference of opinion came out,

I like the night shift myself (probably because I'm up at these hours and it's an escape from work) but also because we can talk basic shop without having to search through 30 pages of "OMG, OMG, OMG!" posts. Relaxed is the key.

Interesting. Thanks for dropping by. Your post takes my Grudometer up from zero. Hope you are right!

Here is my baseball analogy on some of the coaches that some are saying are on the list

Golden - is a bunt
Strong - is a single
Patterson - is a double
Mora - is a triple
Stoops - is a homerun
Gruden - is a bottom of the 9th, bases loaded, Grandslam

Hart has no idea what he is doing If we are really waiting on other coaches

I agree. That is why one has to think Gruden is really a done deal.

Basilio just contradicted himself...he knows lol

He has done that for the last two weeks. I dont think he has a clue what is going on with this search, or at all for that matter. He continues to flip-flop all over the place on Gruden. He is just throwing stuff out there to drive hits on his website. He pissed me off last week and sent him an email and called him out on it. He read it on air and got real defensive about it, all i could do was laugh.
