I'm still not buying any of this Gruden stuff.

Hubbs said Hart is likely to interview Al Golden at some point this week. He will do the bulk of his interviews this weekend at the CFB Hall of Fame event in NYC.

His twitter said he covers East Tennessee, could be Sanders or Patrick.

I doubt its Sanders, he is a vfl.

I'm pretty sure TnVarsity is a Rivals affiliate and Patrick is a 3 star on Rivals so I don't think it would be him.

I'm leaning towards it being a middle TN or West Tn guy, eventhough he covers East Tn.

I'm thinking Bell...

For those interested, there is some great pointless hatred vented towards Bryce Brown in the FF right now. Not everyone is crazy, but the few in there are fun.

@JaysonSwain: RT @shawnzobel_dhq: Speaking of the Tennessee Vols, sounds like Tyler Bray, Justin Hunter, and Cordarrelle Patterson will all declare....

Good for their short term... bad for their long term, IMO

So if all 3 go pro, what can we expect from the offense next year? Here is a quick depth chart of the QB and WR minus Bray, Hunter and CP.

QB
Worley
Peterman

WR
Dallas
Bowles

WR
Carter
Croom

Slot
Howard
Blanc

I think we can be solid, but not spectacular. Carter and Dallas both can be tough receivers who have good hands an d are disciplined. Hopefully the 4 freshmen can step up a play a key role. Pig is clearly talented and flashed some potential. We really don't know what to expect from the other 3. Croom may not end up at WR.

Worley impressed me agaisnt Vandy. I think he can be an above average QB for us. There were some in the spring who said that Peterman out played him, so he could be in the picture.

Hopefully, we will return all our OL (minus Dallas Thomas) and can add a top RB recruit and can just run it right at opposing teams. If we can effectively run the ball, it will take a lot of pressure off of Worley and the receivers.

Wide Receivers
Good Chance: Paul Harris(commit), Marquez North, Jatavius Stewart
High Interest: Jonathan Rumph, Corey Smith, Camion Patrick(grades)
Low Chance: James Quick, new coach surprise, NSD surprise

OL will be tops in the country next year. Neal, Lane, and Green (hopefully) will provide a good run game. I am confident that one of Worley or Peterman will step up next year. Peterman would add an element UT hasn't had in quite some time too. WRs will be questionable. I think Pig Howard will be special. He has elite quickness and speed, just needs more practice. Jacob Carter just has the ability to get open. Dallas seems serviceable and Croom has the measurables.

Also, I'm not sold on Bray, Hunter, and CP all being in the NFL next year.

Another thing I didn't mention is TE. Downs has yet to prove he can be a reliable starter and while I don't think he'll get in a lot of trouble over the recent incident, who knows. Meredith has had problems with injuries and we really don't have anyone else. Croom could move over to TE, but that leaves you a little short at WR. The WR/TE group is probably the biggest question mark on the offense next year, assuming HUnter and CP are gone.

I realize O'Brien's already been discussed, but for some reason it would bother me getting a guy who convinced a bunch of recruits to come to a school knowing that they couldn't play in a bowl for four years, and then bolts on them after one season. Just sayin.
