That timeline to me, objectively, doesn't make a lot of sense. A friday for one of the biggest announcements in UT football? Why lose 5 days to recruit? Hart probably has his guy, or is still interviewing and taking his time.
Gotcha! A good target, but by no means a definitive date. If it's Gruden, I could conceivably see the announcement coming on the first day of the recruiting dead period. If no other coaches can make contact with recruits between December 17 and January 3, they can't work to undo the positive PR for Tennessee that will be created by a Gruden announcement. He is such a media star that the entire time period will be eaten up with speculation about who he will recruit, who he will name as his assistants, etc, etc, etc, that when the contact period resumes, he'll have recruits lined up to visit with him.
If you know anything about medicine/psychiatry, Bi-Polar disorder is not characterized by daily changes in attitude.
Bipolar disorder is a condition in which people go back and forth between periods of a very good or irritable mood and depression. The "mood swings" between mania and depression can be very quick
I want Gruden. I could handle Stoops. Patterson maybe, but TCU's first year in the Big 12 wasn't that impressive. Dan Mullen a maybe as well. Pretty much every other name I've heard will leave me crying.
I'm considering buying shares in kleenex because the longer this goes on, the harder it is to keep believing. I can't help but feel Hart is going to screw this up. Not intentionally, I just think he'll make a bad hire. The past few years have led me to expect disappointment.
