2) there is that little thing that has been thrown around like ESPN contract says no NFL coaching till 2016.....Don't know if that is the correct year, but I would be willing to bet the extension that he recently signed would stipulate him NOT going to the NFL.

The sports director of WJHL TV / channel 11 in the Tri_Cities just reported the sticking point with Jon Gruden is that Gruden wants to have an AD role in addition to the HC position, and Dave Hart will not go for this. (If true, I support DH ). He also said Stoops had been contacted to gauge his potential interest, and Stoops supposedly said he is happy @ OU. TIFWIW, no inside sources, just quoting verbatim.

Nobody really knows. I listened to the Cowherd interview and at the end Cowherd said something about Dilfer being on MNF. I think if he is on MNF it means nothing. If he is not on MNF it will definitely mean something’s up. What will everyone think if Gruden and Dilfer are on MNF?

If he's not on it could mean he will be announced tomorrow. All conjecture.

Accurate. If anything, they're looking for continuity in the system but a different long-term and philosophical approach. Gruden makes sense as he fits both.

Wrong. Philly is technically not out of playoff contention yet. You dont fire him now. What happens if they run off 6and in a row and win playoff games. Would bet money nothing has been decided yet. Philly is a talented team they are just having injury problems.
