Should be a simple matter for you to post that alleged law then.

There IS no such federal law. For federal jobs of certain classifications, there are various regulations codified in the Code of Federal Regulations for different levels of responsibility and salary/perks.

But as stated many times, this is a STATE job - the only federal laws that apply are the usual ones that prohibit discrimination on the basis of age, national origin, handicap status, race, etc.

Ok boys I'm not pulling your leg. My pledge brother at UT has a very good source: both his mother and father are very successful lawyers in the Nashville area and one of his parents represents a Haslam. Also, his uncle is a "Top 10 booster" (in his words), and has been informed that we have Gruden in the bag. Just passing along info I hear... trust me when I say this kid has info... they are loaded.

What frat? Depending on your response I will choose to believe you.

I dated a girl named Janet briefly in the late 90's. One rainy night, (I believe it was a Tuesday - don't quote me on that) we had an argument over a burnt Meat Loaf. Towards the end I screamed "I would eat anything for love...but I won't eat THAT." I retired to the living room, where I drank a pint of Evan Williams while watching Mama's Family. I passed out.

When awoke, Janet had taken my entire collection of baseball/football cards (including a 1993 Derek Jeter SP Foil rookie card) and thrown them out in the front yard, cut up my Dallas Cowboys Zubaz (very hard to find in those days), and took her proverbial meat loaf and went home. After not returning my phone call for several days, she finally answered, informing me that she hated me, and my redneck family, and that she was going to start dating a guy named Jerry that was a teller at AmSouth. I never heard from her again.

Moral of the story: don't trust broads named Janet.
