Jerry Jones is in it with Garrett for the long haul. Straight from his mouth 2 weeks ago on tv.

I was just passing along things I heard from people that follow the NFL. I do not even know their coaches name until this thread lol. I do not know if it is likely or not. I am still clinging to UT getting this finalized.

Have not lived in Memphis for years so unsure how credible the Rainman is on 560 but he just repported Gruden will be announced on the 30th for a 4 year deal. TIFWIW

I do not usually bash for grammar but if you are going to be a reporter you should work on it. There opinion?

Yeah, I was about to mention that.

Anyway...

Cannot disagree with your logic and it could end up correct. A lot of smoke around the Eagles and Dallas jobs too, just being forthright. I think Gruden coaches either UT, Philly, or Dallas next year and would give odds on that.

I can't see him in Dallas. He and JJ butting heads. If control is what he is after, it won't be Dallas.

Jerry Punch just said that he thinks Dave Hart already has the Coach for UT.

Hyams....... "really........wow"

Hyams sounded shocked and stunned!!

Hyamns talks about coaching searches like Tennessee must go through him and get his approval before hiring anyone.

Just got done listening to Dr Punch myself and it sounds like, in his opinion, news should be coming soon. Maybe even as early as this week.

If it is a coach with games left to play, it will come next week.

If it is a current color commentator, it should be this week.

I cannot believe some on here do not know who Dr. Jerry Punch is, he was a sideline reporter for espn college football for many years. GO VOLS GET IT DONE!! WE WANT GRUDEN!!

He was the primary ESPN sideline reporter for many years when Ron Franklin and Gottfried were the main announcers for Saturday night games on ESPN.

I miss Ron Franklin called games. They seemed to coincide with Tennessee being good.
