Dr. Punch says that he believes that if there was a real coaching search going on that we would have heard about it. It is his opine that the hire is done and was done quickly. Hart had his man and got him. He is opining that we could know this week. Saying it has been too quiet for it to not already be done.

I am paraphrasing as the conversation was going quickly. I am now OFFICIALLY EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just found out about 2 hours ago that about 5pm (et) members of the Tennessee board will be meeting with some media in regards to the rules of what will be happening. Was told that this happened with the hiring of Bruce Pearl and Lane Griffin. It's like rules put on the media. I expect (and so does my source and many other people with there opinion) that UT will hold a press conference this week if there is no hire and discuss the search of a new football coach.

I have zero sources on Gruden to Vols, but this is a smoke-screen if I've ever seen one. Quoting a ridiculously old quote from a true idiot here in Philly. Philly people think any coach anywhere would drop what they are doing to come there. There is absolutely no one with any quote or info anywhere with Gruden expressing interest in Eagles. "Gruden interested in Eagles" stuff is 100x more laughable than any "Gruden interested in Vols", we have an opening.

Just got done listening to Dr Punch myself and it sounds like, in his opinion, news should be coming soon. Maybe even as early as this week.
