The Knox media loves all of this right now. Their ratings are probably triple what they normally are. They're going to say stuff all over the spectrum to get every one possible to listen. It's all about ratings and money.

You're alright man. Skepticism is a good thing. I have just gone all in. If it doesn't happen I will look at other candidates with an open mind. I won't be super happy about it but I really don't have a say and can't change my alma mater.

It kills me that this roller coaster ride is the same every single day. You would think we would get wise to the way this works eventually. This is the bottom line. If what I just heard is true and that DP said gruden's agent has contacted UT. That means we have Gruden. If Peyton Manning can sell UT to Gruden he can most certainly sell Jon Gruden to Dave Hart. IMO this is now a lock. Peyton FTW!!

I heard several students and fans around campus from a month ago until now that want and think its Gruden and only Gruden. It will be mass hysteria if it isn't, especially without a cool down period in between.

This is exactly why hart must leak that gruden is out if that happens. I have to believe that he is still in play since nothing concrete has leaked about him bein out. I don't expect anything from gruden regarding denial.

let the UTAD pass on Jon Gruden and see what happens to ticket and merchandise sales. They will have to bulldoze the stadium down due to the amount of money they will lose if they pass on Gruden while he wants the job. Man, most people not on these boards are a little more open to other coaches.. Nowhere else is this considered a sure thing, or even very likely at all..This is the only place I've been that is just sold on Gruden being the coach.. Most around Knox/campus I've talked to think he's a longshot.. These boards don't speak for the majority of fans.
