Truth. When I heard that Dr. B was calling this about 6 days ago as being Gruden, I became a serious believer then.

Dr. Basketball is an entertainer and comic at times on the air, but when he comes with this type of scoop stuff about UT sports, you had better take it serious. He is usually right far more than he's wrong.

Maybe the Mayans foresaw the hiring of Gruden and just got it mistaken with another earth shaking event.

He said Slive and the AD's basically have a gentlemans agreement nobody would hire Petrino and Finebaum asked if he would be the coach at AU and he said 100% guaranteed he would not nor anyone else in the conference.

Interesting.

Auburn will more than likely opt out of that agreement if it is true, but I find that very hard to believe.

Dr B, Quake, and Cowboy Joe have a very entertaining show in Chattanooga. I will agree he does tend to have good inside info. He mentioned the fact of Trooper Taylor being taken off the road months ago and that info was just released a few days ago. Who knows what will happen. But I am not inclined to believe that Hart just started interviewing candidates today or tomorrow. I believe the boosters have their man and I believe that man is Jon Gruden. By now the talks should have died off. But it seems that once they seem to fade, they come roaring back.

Scott or Quake may be the most connected of the three. His or one of his best friends just happens to be an assistant AD at TN.

Don't know cowboy but quake and DR. B are solid and don't mention things for the sake of saying it.

Agreed, but they cant be any more desperate than UT. Hell they are just 2 yrs removed from a NC. But honestly Chizzik should never have been hired even with winning one.
