I'm trying to hang on to the Gruden train but starting to get a sick feeling that if it's not Gruden it will be a 2nd tier HC. The Vols program is not in the best shape and I'm wondering what 1st tier coach will want to undertake a major rebuilding project in the ever so competitive SEC? I'll continue to try and stay positive hoping for a Gruden Hire until it's announced otherwise.
Hopefully we'll all start to get a clearer picture as this week unfolds......I just Hope Hart doesn't blow this chance to get the Vols back on track.

Perhaps I misunderstood what I was told about that particular incident...but I'm positive he said Edsall blew the interview off...and I guess he said later signed with Maryland. Honest mistake.

Edsall was rumored over and over to this job when Dooley got it. Him and Calhoun were the 2 names rumored at the same time. Isn't important to the story any ways. Like you said it is an easy thing to cross up.

I don't think he made it up, just misread it. I just found it funny because I'm sitting here wearing my Maryland football stuff that I was given by those coaches, so I knew for sure when they were hired. It sucks, I have inside info at Maryland, but not with my beloved Vols.
