If they fail to secure Gruden, Strong, Stoops, Fisher, Golden, etc. and bring Butch Jones in, people will flip their $hit. He is/was in for the KY and shouldn't even be on our radar.

Yea if we have to battle with KY over a coach that i agree we our heading down a scary road

If there isn't an announcement next week, then Gruden is gone.

At that point, hopefully we'll have a coach the following week after the conference championship games and hopefully it is a proven college HC i.e. Stoops or Patterson.

That was just his take on it, he said no inside source gave this to him. He felt that so many people in the media outside the UT family were catching wind it would be difficult to hide much longer. He was very clear that it was only his thoughts.

Chaney said over, and over that he has no clue what to do being the coach. He also said he doesn't even know what a head coach does day in and day out. Hiring Chaney would be like SMU after they received the death penalty. The program would spiral down to the depths you have never seen.
